The Mail Client Settings panel is perhaps one of the most valuable sections of cPanel. Using the features available in this area of our cPanel, you can quickly locate configuration information for adding e-mail accounts to applications like Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Apple Mail, and more.<\/p>\n

You can let the application automatically assign this information using one of the available Protocols (Scripts) <\/em>shown in the list, or you can manually provide this information. If you choose to do it manually, you will need to edit the settings of your preferred Email client when setting it up for the first time.<\/p>\n

How to Find Mail Client Settings in cPanel<\/h3>\n

1.<\/strong> Locate the Email Accounts<\/em> under the Email section in your cPanel.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Navigating to the far right column on the same line with the Email account options, you will find the CONNECT DEVICES\u00a0<\/em>button. Click on it and continue to the next window.<\/p>\n

On the next window, you will find two options for getting the mail client settings:<\/p>\n

Mail Client Automatic Configuration<\/h4>\n

Locate the Email Client you wish to set up from the application list on the left, then click on the associated protocol on the right. Some of them will open up a setup wizard, requiring you to Run or Save a configuration file. The configuration file which is downloaded will automatically set up your Email client.<\/p>\n

Mail Client Manual Settings<\/span><\/h4>\n

If you do not see an auto-configuration script for your client in the list above, you can manually configure your mail client using the settings below. You can also send yourself or to someone else this information via the Email Instructions <\/em>section at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n

Make sure to replace the username with your email address and the incoming mail server with your domain after the mail. part.<\/p>\n
