There are specific scenarios when you may be asked to change your PHP configuration. Specifically, you may be directed to edit a file on your server called php.ini and to increase the max_file_uploads<\/strong>\u00a0limit.<\/p>\n

What is the max_file_uploads PHP setting?<\/h3>\n

max_file_uploads<\/strong> is a setting managed through the PHP Options, which sets the maximum number of files that can be uploaded simultaneously.<\/p>\n

While do not allow direct changes to PHP.ini on our servers. However, PHP configuration changes can be made from cPanel by following these steps:<\/p>\n

How to Increase the max_file_uploads Limit in cPanel<\/h3>\n \t\t
\r\n \t\t\tPHP Selector<\/strong><\/span> \t\t\t \t\t\t\t

The PHP Selector is omitted by default in cPanel and might be missing from your account if you are hosting with a different web host. 1)\u00a0<\/strong>Log into cPanel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2)<\/strong> Look for the SOFTWARE<\/em> section and click on\u00a0Select PHP version<\/strong><\/p>\n

4)<\/strong> You can locate the max_file_uploads<\/strong> and\u00a0click on the value.<\/p>\n

A dropdown menu or text input box will appear, allowing you to change the value as required. Check your script, plugin, or theme\u2019s documentation (or an on-screen error message) to find the correct value.<\/p>\n

5)<\/strong> Once you\u2019ll do any change, please do a left-hand side click anywhere outside the dropdown or text input box. If the change was successful, you will see a green box with a message which will confirm that the change has been applied.<\/p>\n
