If you don&#8217;t see your email provider, tap Generic IMAP or Generic POP3 to add your account manually. If you have the email address configured in multiple devices, our recommendation is to use the IMAP protocol. In simple terms, if you are using IMAP and mark a mail as read, it gets marked as read in your web-based inbox too (because the changes are happening on the server). However, this won\u2019t be the case if you are using POP because the emails are downloaded to your PC and the changes won\u2019t reflect on the server.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3)<\/strong> Tap on IMAP generic<\/p>\n<p><strong>4)<\/strong> Enter your name, email address, and\u00a0password for your account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5)<\/strong> Tap Add.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6)<\/strong> Enter the information for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Done. If you don&#8217;t have this information, try to look it up or contact your email provider.<\/p>\n    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--info    \"   >\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\t\n<p><strong>Incoming Mail Server common ports<\/strong><br \/>\nIMAP \u2013 Port 143<br \/>\nIMAP SSL \u2013 Port 993<\/p>\n<p><strong>Outgoing Mail Server common ports<\/strong><br \/>\nSMTP \u2013 Port 25 (Alternates: Port 26 \/ Port 2525)<br \/>\nSMTP SSL \u2013 Port 465<\/p>\n    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t\n<p>If your email settings are correct, tap Done to finish. If the email settings are incorrect, you&#8217;ll be asked to edit them.
