What Is An Account?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Accounts (formerly “clients”) own products and services. They represent a billable party, like a business.<\/p>\n What Is A User or Collaborator?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Users can have one or more associated accounts they can access and manage. A new user is created based on the account profile when a new account is created. When you’re logged in as a Collaborator with access to multiple ChemiCloud accounts, you can choose the account to which you should log in and manage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n For example, each web designer’s customer could represent a different account. The web designer could log in as a user and access each account using a single set of credentials. However, the accounts themselves would not be connected.<\/p>\n What Is An Account Owner?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Each account is associated with a single account owner. Account owners have all of the possible permissions that a user can possess. They are also the only user who can send invitations from the account to new or existing users.<\/p>\n Just a couple of examples where this might be useful are:<\/p>\n Regarding web developer’s access, we suggest you read about a few things to consider and security principles<\/a>.<\/p>\n You can delegate access to your ChemiCloud account by sending an invitation from the User Management<\/b> section of your Client Area by following the steps below:<\/p>\n 1)\u00a0<\/strong>Once you are logged into your client area, click on the account name in the top header (right-hand side), then click on User Management<\/b>.<\/p>\n You can also click on this link<\/a>, which will take you to the User Management section.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n 2)<\/strong> Click on the Invite New User\u00a0<\/b>button.<\/p>\n 3)\u00a0<\/strong>A modal will open, where you’ll need to fill in the email address<\/strong> of the person to which you’re delegating access. What’s more, you can choose the permissions level<\/strong> for that user.<\/p>\n Choosing All Permissions<\/b> will grant all available permissions to the user.<\/p>\n The Choose Permissions<\/b> option will allow you to set limited permissions as explained below:<\/p>\n \r\n \t\t\t\t\tPlease note that this option will provide access to view and manage ALL your hosting services. \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t<\/li>\n 4)<\/strong> Once you’ve selected the permissions level, click on the Send Invite\u00a0<\/b>button.<\/p>\n You should see a confirmation that the invite has been sent successfully.<\/p>\n \t\t \r\n \t\t\t\t\tInvitations expire after 7 days. If the invitee already has an existing user account with us, they can access their account using their existing login credentials.
