Users can update the DNS records for their domains from within the cPanel, however, please note that this effect will only work if Chemicloud’s nameservers or private nameservers registered with Chemicloud IPs are being used.<\/p>\n

1)<\/strong>\u00a0Log into cPanel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2)<\/strong> Look for the “Domains<\/strong>” section and click on\u00a0“Zone Editor”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3)<\/strong> If you have more than one domain entered in your cPanel choose the domain name for which you would like the DNS zone modified. You can also use the search bar to find the domain name.<\/p>\n

4)<\/strong> From this area, you can either create a new A Record<\/strong>, CNAME Record<\/strong> or add an MX record<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

5) <\/strong>You can also edit or remove\u00a0a DNS record you have previously created by clicking on the “Manage”<\/strong> link.<\/p>\n

6)<\/strong> If you no longer wish to use a DNS record you have previously created it can be simply removed\u00a0by clicking the “Delete”<\/strong> link.<\/p>\n

7)<\/strong> \u00a0To update\u00a0a DNS record you have previously created\u00a0simply\u00a0click\u00a0the Edit<\/strong> link and make the necessary changed and hit the “Save Record<\/strong>” button to update the record.<\/p>\n

Nothing can be done to speed the DNS propagation<\/a> process, however, it is recommended that you plan for propagation ahead of time to minimize the effects of downtime.<\/p>\n
