In this tutorial, we’ll show you how\u00a0to delete a database table with phpMyAdmin, we’ll assume that you’ve already logged into phpMyAdmin. If you are not logged in just follow the steps in\u00a0this tutorial<\/a>\u00a0to login.<\/p>\n

1)<\/strong> First, we’ll need to select the database, in this example, we’ll use the chemiclo_demo<\/strong>\u00a0database.<\/p>\n

2)<\/strong> We’ll see here all the tables within this database listed, click on the “Drop<\/strong>” link next to the table you wish to delete (drop).<\/p>\n

3)<\/strong> A confirmation pop-up message will appear, make sure you are deleting the right table and click “OK<\/strong>“.\u00a0A message will appear indicating that your table has been dropped and the table is no longer listed in the database’s list of tables.<\/p>\n

4)<\/strong> We can also delete (drop) specific\u00a0fields from this table by\u00a0clicking the delete icon. In this example, we selected the test3<\/strong> table and dropped the junk<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n
