A website builder is a great tool if you want to quickly build a working website based on a collection of pre-built themes. However, changing themes can be somewhat confusing.<\/p>\n

In this Knowledge Base article, I’ll show you how you can change your website theme.<\/p>\n

How to Change your Website Theme with the Website Builder<\/h2>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Login to your cPanel. There’s a lot of ways to do this, but the sure fire easiest way is to login to your Client Area<\/a>, then open your cPanel.<\/p>\n

Step 2: When your cPanel is open, scroll down to the Software section and open the Website Builder.<\/p>\n

Step 3: When the Website Builder opens, hover over the site for which you wish to change the theme and click the speedometer icon to Login to the site.<\/p>\n

\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t \t\t\t\t

\r\n \t\t\t\t\tBefore you change the theme, it’s important to know how theme changes work. Let’s say you have 4 pages, Home, About Me, Blog, and Contact Me using the Promenade theme and you want to use the Boulder theme now.<\/p>\n

When you change the theme, your 4 pages will be cloned, and the content in them will be put in the appropriate locations on the new pages with the new theme applied.\u00a0 You will then need to delete the old pages so they don’t appear in your navigational structure and confuse visitors.\u00a0 \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n

Step 4: When the website editor for the chosen site opens, click Themes from the menu on the left.<\/p>\n

When the themes area opens, locate the theme you want to use, hover it, and click Activate.<\/p>\n

After clicking A<\/strong>ctivate<\/strong>, you will see a note at the top of the page stating the new theme has been activated.<\/p>\n

Step 5: Click the Pages utility<\/strong> from the navigation bar on the left side, and click All Pages.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Look through the pages and find the ones with the old theme. Hover over the page and click the trashcan icon to delete it.<\/p>\n

In case you delete the wrong page, don’t worry, you can restore it by going to the Trash.<\/p>\n
