In this knowledgebase article, we’ll cover how to add a background to a section in the Website Builder.<\/p>\n

How to add a Background to a Section in the Website Builder<\/h2>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Login to your cPanel. There’s a lot of ways to do this, but the sure fire easiest way is to login to your Client Area<\/a>, then open your cPanel.<\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Scroll down to the Software section and open the Website Builder:<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Your list of sites will load. Locate the site edit, then hover over that site and click the speedometer icon to login to the site.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Once the Site Admin area opens, click Pages from the menu on the left, then click All Pages.<\/p>\n

You will be presented with thumbnail previews of each page in your Site. Choose the page you want to edit and insert a background into. For this example, I’m going to choose the About Page.<\/p>\n

Step 5:<\/strong> Once your page is open in the Website Builder editor, choose the section you want to edit by hovering over it. You’ll see a container box is drawn around that section to indicate where it begins and ends, and in the top right corner of that box is a series of icons.<\/p>\n

The first icon is Clone. This will duplicate the section to a space right beneath it. Useful if you need to clone a section quickly.<\/p>\n

The second icon is Trash. This will delete the section.<\/p>\n

The third icon is Edit. This is the option you want to use and clicking it will open the Section Editor on the left side of the Website Builder. See screen shot of the editor below:<\/p>\n

Step 6:<\/strong> To access the Background tool, click Options at the top.<\/p>\n

The options will change and will look like this:<\/p>\n

Look for the Background Type section, and choose the type of background which you want to insert.<\/p>\n
