If you are connecting your WHM to an application like WHMCS, you should use the API Token method to connect rather than giving the application your WHM Password.<\/p>\n

If you are not familiar with locating your API Token in WHM, this Knowledge Base article will help you!<\/p>\n

How to locate and use the API Token in WHM<\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Login to your WHM. There’s a lot of ways to do this, but the sure fire easiest way is to login to your Client Area<\/a>, then open your WHM.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Once you’ve logged in to your ChemiCloud Client Area, you will be presented with your Dashboard.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Click WHM next to your reseller account to open your WHM application.<\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Once WHM loads, use the search function located in the top left corner and search for API.<\/p>\n

In the search results will be returned the option “Manage API Tokens”. Open this Utility.<\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Once the API Tokens area loads, you will be presented with a list of your API tokens. Unless you’ve created some previously, your default list should be empty.<\/p>\n

To create a token, click the blue + Generate Token button.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Step 5:<\/strong> You’ll need to fill in a few options on the Generate API Token page. Let’s review them:<\/p>\n
