In this article, we will show you how to create a package in WHM.<\/p>\n

Having several different hosting packages which come with various functions and limitations allows you\u00a0to provide a wide selection of hosting plans to your clients based on particular features, this way you can set different prices for your plans based on these features and options.<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0Log into WHM<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0Look for the Add a Package<\/b>\u00a0button located under the\u00a0Packages\u00a0<\/b>section.<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0Enter the desired package name in the Package Name<\/strong> text box.<\/p>\n

4) In the Resources<\/strong> section, you can specify the resources and limitations set for the plan.<\/p>\n

Disk Quota (MB)<\/strong>: Enter in MB the maximum amount of space on the server\u2019s hard drive that the account can use.<\/p>\n

Monthly Bandwidth (MB)<\/strong>: Enter in the bandwidth (in MB) assigned for this package. This refers to the amount of information that the account can transfer each month, measured in MegaBytes (MB).<\/p>\n

Max FTP Accounts<\/strong>: Enter\u00a0the maximum number of FTP accounts allowed for in this package.<\/p>\n

Max Email Accounts<\/strong>: Enter the maximum Email accounts allowed in this package.<\/p>\n

Max Email Lists:<\/strong>\u00a0Enter the maximum number of Mailman mailing lists allowed for this package.<\/p>\n

Max Databases:<\/strong> Enter the maximum databases allowed in this package.<\/p>\n

Max Sub Domains:<\/strong> Enter the maximum sub-domains allowed in this package.<\/p>\n

Max Parked Domains:<\/strong> Enter the maximum domain aliases allowed in this package.<\/p>\n

Max Addon Domains:<\/strong> Enter the maximum add-on domains allowed in this package.<\/p>\n

Maximum Hourly Email by\u00a0Domain Relayed:<\/strong> Enter the maximum number of emails that any domain on the account can send per hour. This value defaults to Unlimited.<\/p>\n

Maximum percentage of failed or deferred messages a domain may send per hour:\u00a0<\/strong>Type in the maximum percentage of failed or deferred messages that a domain on the account can send before your server temporarily blocks outgoing mail from that domain. When a domain exceeds the limit, it cannot send mail until the queued mail is delivered or deleted.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n

5)\u00a0Under the\u00a0Settings<\/strong>\u00a0section choose the extra cPanel features that the account will have access to.<\/p>\n

Dedicated IP: <\/strong>Check this box if you want to\u00a0assign a static IP address that will only be used by the account.<\/p>\n

Shell Access:<\/strong>\u00a0Check this box if you want to\u00a0allow\u00a0the user to access the server using a command line interface.<\/p>\n

CGI Access:<\/strong> Check this box if this package allows CGI scripts execution.<\/p>\n

cPanel Theme:<\/strong> You can select from the dropdown menu the default cPanel theme displayed when the user accesses their cPanel.<\/p>\n

Feature list:<\/strong> Feature lists define which cPanel features are available to cPanel users. To edit or create a feature list, use WHM’s Feature Manager interface. You can read more about feature lists by clicking here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Locale<\/strong>: You can select the default cPanel language that will be used by default for this package.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n

6)\u00a0 Click on the Add<\/strong> button once you are happy with the values set for the plan.<\/p>\n
