By default, WordPress uses the PHP Mail function to send emails from your website. It is recommended to use SMTP as it will significantly<\/em> increase the reliability of the emails that are being sent from your website.<\/p>\n

How to Configure WordPress to Use SMTP For Sending Emails<\/h3>\n

First, you need to install a plugin: WP Mail SMTP<\/strong><\/a> following the below steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Go to Plugins area of your WordPress admin panel, and search for WP Mail SMTP<\/li>\n
  2. Install then Activate WP Mail SMTP<\/li>\n
  3. Navigate to the Settings<\/em> area of WP Mail SMTP in the WordPress admin.<\/li>\n
  4. Choose your SMTP option (Mailgun SMTP, SendGrid SMTP, Gmail SMTP, or Other SMTP) and follow the instructions to set it up.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you are a ChemiCloud customer choose the \u2018Other SMTP<\/em><\/strong>\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Mailer:<\/strong> Other SMTP
    \nSMTP Host:<\/strong> mail.yourdomain.tld
    \nSMTP Port:<\/strong> 465
    \nEncryption:<\/strong> SSL
    \nAuthentication:<\/strong> ON<\/p>\n

    To authenticate, please use the email address created on your domain and its password.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n

    Save changes.<\/p>\n

    Once you’ve saved the changes, it is recommended to send a test email to one of your email addresses. You can do so from the ‘Email test’ tab.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
