You’re passionate about content in all formats and are digitally savvy. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing content and distribution plans for various platforms, and recruiting and managing a team of writers and editors. You’ll also be called upon to capably write and edit engaging and compelling content yourself when the situation calls for it. This fast-paced position provides an excellent opportunity to be a part of a rapidly growing business. 

What you will do 

  • Oversee the creation of compelling short- and long-form content, leading its development from A to Z, in collaboration with cross-functional marketing teams
  • Lead a team of freelance writers and editors to develop new content and support customer acquisition and retention efforts
  • Establish strong relationships with the product marketing, sales, and affiliate teams to ensure a complete understanding of ChemiCloud's products, then align content development accordingly
  • Ensure all content is factually accurate, thoughtful, consistent, and uses the appropriate voice and format
  • Elevate our brand, company, and product storytelling through various formats, including ChemiCloud's blog and social media channels
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to organically weave SEO information into content
  • Continuously track content engagement and success; use data to help make appropriate content decisions
  • Create robust processes and demonstrate practical project management skills to drive execution cross-functionally

About you  

You have proven experience in content management and production in the tech industry, including planning and managing ambitious content and editorial calendars. Your hands-on experience with multiple projects and priorities means you can adeptly handle competing deadlines, manage project workflow for the content team, and incorporate feedback effectively. 

You have a strong understanding of current email and SEO practices, along with marketing tools that include Google Analytics, SEMRush, and Google Search Console. Always learning, you stay on top of current content formats, strategies, SEO updates, and new tactics. 

Post-secondary education in Business or Journalism is ideal, but not required if you have proven yourself through relevant work experience. Fluency in English and impeccable communication skills are a must. Fluency in additional languages is always a plus.
