What Is Domain Redemption Status?

Domain Redemption occurs when a TLD domain name has passed its expiry date by more than 30 days. The Redemption Period is a 40 day period during which the domain name owner can renew their domain but they need to pay an additional fee called the Redemption Fee if the domain is not renewed during this period it will once again be free for registration.

When the domain expires, your website and mail service will stop functioning, and no changes can be made to the domain.

Redemption Fee costs can vary depending on the extension, contact our support through the control panel for more information.
