What’s causing the “nameservers are not authoritative” error for .IE domains?
If you have tried to change the name servers of your .IE domain to our name servers and it failed with that error, it is because the name servers are not authoritative for that domain. When you try to update the nameservers of a .ie domain name, a record needs to exist on the new nameservers before the change will be accepted.
This is a requirement specific to .IE domains. You can check to see if/when the nameservers are authoritative for you domain via the IEDR website.
