Important
Please remember that any additional block storage volume represents an entirely new partition on your server. Suppose you're running on a Cloud 2 VPS instance that comes by default with 160 GB. Adding 100 GB block storage volume will create a new partition, e.g.,/home2. So the block storage volume will not increase the VPS primary partition (/home).
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I upgrade my block storage?
Yes, you can modify the size for any existing block storage volume. Please note that this will require a reboot of the VPS instance in which your block storage is attached.
Can I downgrade my block storage?
No, because of potential data loss, you cannot perform an in-place downgrade of block storage
