A dedicated IP address is where you have a single IP address that is yours and your site alone. That means you would not be sharing an IP address with any other sites, even though you share the same server.
With IPv4 IP addresses dwindling, we can offer dedicated IP addresses only in specific server locations and for select hosting categories.
All dedicated IP address requests require justification. There are cases when a dedicated IP may be required (not mandatory), for instance, for e-commerce-based websites on which the payment gateway may require the use of a dedicated IP address.
Beyond the e-commerce example, there are not many reasons your website may need a dedicated IP.
