What Are the ChemiCloud Nameservers?

Name servers help link your domain name to its IP address and your hosting plan with us.

What Are the ChemiCloud Nameservers?

The ChemiCloud Nameservers cam be easily located within your lab by following the steps below:

1) Once you are logged into your Client Area locate the Active services area.

2) Under the Actions menu of the active service, click on the Server information icon, as in the screenshot below:

ChemiCloud Nameservers

You will find the nameservers for directing your domains. These nameservers are compatible with our Web Hosting and WordPress Hosting services.

If you’re using our Reseller Hosting or Cloud VPS, you have two choices for nameservers:

  1. Set up your own custom nameservers.
  2. Use the generic nameservers we provided when your account was set up. Check your welcome email for these nameservers.

Note: If you did not receive your welcome letter, please contact our Support team and we can re-send it out to you.

What Is My Server’s IP Address?

If you want to keep using your current name servers (external ones) but direct your domain to our server, you should change the A record of your domain to point to our server’s IP address.

You can find your server’s IP address in the email we sent you with your hosting account setup details, under ‘Account IP’.

Alternatively, you can quickly find your server’s IP address by logging into cPanel, then look under General Information on the right-hand side for ‘Shared IP address’.

Server IP Address

This type of DNS change must be done from the end of your nameservers holder.
